What's a secret you say? My baby!! Actually, my babies - my itty bitty squirmy kicking one - BabyB, and my bloggy one - My Handmade Baby!
And I'm incredibly excited by both!
You see, we lost our last baby at 10 weeks. It was totally unexpected and utterly devestating. That was just before Christmas.
This time, we are playing it safe and haven't told anyone - yet. We have had two mini scans at the obsetricians and things seem to be all going nicely, but... We decided not to make any announcements until after our first official scan. Which is in two days time - on Thursday.
I am so excited but incredibly nervous all at the same time. I cannot wait to see how BabyB is developing.
As part of my journey with BabyB is a desire to connect in an incredibly intimate way. For me, this means playing a part in everything by having at least one handmade element to all of BabyB's things no matter how small. I haven't really thought about the logistics of this too much. I figure I'll work that out as I go.
